Dr. Jack D. Runk

Dr. Runk grew up in Fulton County and most of his extended family still live there. He graduated from McConnellsburg High School in 1992 and Penn State in 1996. In 2000 he received a veterinary degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation Dr. Runk moved to Somerset, PA. He worked five years as a mixed animal practitioner before moving to Franklin county, PA to be closer to family and transitioning to focus solely on small animal medicine. After nine years as the only full time small animal practitioner at Franklin Veterinary Associates in Greencastle, PA, he is opening the St. Thomas Veterinary Center.

Dr. Runk lives in St. Thomas, PA with his family and pets. He enjoys outdoor activities, sports and cooking and looks forward to providing many years of care to the companion animals of St. Thomas, Chambersburg and surrounding areas.
